Made Money on Internet Resources

Online business opportunities are everywhere

Though anyone can achieve success with affiliate programs, not everyone manages to do the same. The reason? Well, there are 10 of them, actually. These are the biggest mistakes that make success in affiliate marketing very elusive. Study them well, and read up on how to avoid them. Hurdling through these mistakes can spell the difference between monumental profits and dismal performance in your Affiliate Marketing campaigns.

1. Believing that people would just click on their affiliate links. Though an affiliate’s job is merely limited to pre-selling, pre-selling involves more than just displaying the affiliate links. It also entails encouraging people to click on them by enumerating the benefits that can be derived from the affiliate merchant’s products, giving favorable recommendations about the use of the same, and providing an encouraging offer that would entice readers to check out the package.

2. Believing that there’s such a thing as organic traffic. Organic traffic, or traffic that is naturally generated by a website, is a myth. There is no such thing! If you’re hosting your affiliate links in one website, you can’t expect people to find it just like that. You have to make them find it. This can be done through effective SEO techniques and efficient marketing strategies.

3. Believing that employing one marketing strategy is enough. Some people actually think that submitting one article to the article directories would give them the amount of traffic they need. This is a fatal mistake. Limiting yourself to a single, or even a couple, of marketing tactics would be limiting the number of visitors you could generate for your website. Also, you’ll fail to tap into other segments of your targeted market if your tactics aren’t flexible enough to expand.

4. Failing to study your campaign’s performance. Most affiliates merely check on how much they have earned per day, and if such an amount remains at low levels, they fail to make corresponding adjustments because, well, they don’t know which aspects of their campaigns need improving. It is important to study every facet of our marketing strategies. How many visitors are we generating for our website? How many of them are unique? How many are returning? How much time do they spend in our pages? Where are they coming from? To where are they exiting? These are the questions that can be answered by an excellent visitor tracking software program, and these are the questions that could help us improve the performance of our marketing endeavors.

5. Failing to find an affiliate program which actually offers sellable products. Some affiliate programs may offer as much as a 95% commission per sale. But if the products are impossible to sell, you’d never realize the profit the program promises.

6. Failing to find an affiliate program with a proven record of consumer satisfaction. The credibility of an enterprise depends on how people view it. If the affiliate program has established great relationships with the members of its target market, then it has established a brand which is recognizable for its excellent service. You’d have an easier time pre-selling such an affiliate program’s products.

7. Failing to keep abreast with the latest developments in the industry. There will come a time when the marketing knowledge we know would become obsolete, more so in the field of internet marketing where everything transpires at a rapid pace. You have to constantly update yourself with the newest trends, techniques and news in this field to always keep your competitive edge.

8. Failing to invest on knowledge. Knowledge likewise evolves and you have to evolve with it. Buy noteworthy eBooks, special reports and the likes… those which would teach you the latest tactics to help you conquer your field.

9. Resting on your laurels once a semblance of success is achieved. Success is not eternal. You have to sustain it. If you leave your business alone once it shows the promise of success, you’re just setting it up for failure.

10. Believing that affiliate marketing is a “get rich quick” scheme. It is not. You have to invest a certain level of commitment, a lot of time, some financial resources on occasions, and a whole lot of effort if you want to truly realize the many wonderful things that this field does promise.

Affiliate marketing can be really profitable when done right. However, almost everyone EXCEPT the few supper affiliates who understand what it takes and make herds of cash in commission make these mistakes and that is why I have come to regard them as the top 7 mistakes that affiliate marketers make.

1.    Thinking There Is Only Niche To See In & To

As straight forward as it looks, most affiliate marketing campaigns fall victim to this mistake. They erroneously believe that to make money from affiliate products, you have to sell “make money” products. This is nothing but a misconception. Marketing as an affiliate is simply about selling products and services for a commission and you can just as well sell stuff outside the “make money” niche and trust me when I say you can do it far more easily. So, dump that idea that only certain niches sell and expand your view by looking into selling in other highly profitable niches.

2.    Zero Landing Pages versus Poorly Done Landing Pages…

One of the biggest, yet most made mistakes is to launch an affiliate marketing campaign and then lead your prospects straight to the vendor’s pitch (sales copy). This might have worked well back in 2002 but not now. Internet users have become more sophisticated and the honest truth is that most web users won’t click on an affiliate link or anything that looks like it-that is why more than anything else, your need a landing page. Your landing page doesn’t necessarily need to be something complex. I suggest you see, easyaffiliatebucks.Com to get a feel of what I mean by having something simple. The object is to pre-sell the product you are marketing and also to build a list of prospects so that you can follow up and sell other related products to them.

3.    Neglecting A Follow-Up &  Contact System

Don’t expect to reach the full potential of your Affiliate Marketing campaign without having a follow-up system fully in place. When you follow-up with prospects, you build trust, which helps you create even more commissions because the people who read from you believe in you and respect your views and opinions and that is why you need to build, feed and maintain your own list instead of helping other people build their own list at your own expenses.

4.    Thinking Short Term Profits Instead Of Long Term Earnings.

I agree, there are times when you just want some cash in the short term. However, as an affiliate marketer, the first thing on your mind should never be short term profits. PPC advertising is great and can help you produce some incredible short-term profits but never forget that when you do make conscious effort to turn your efforts into a persistent income channel, it will all up the say you stop paying. That is why more than anything else, you need to create other affiliate marketing avenues that will still give you results even 5years from today. These includes: article marketing, viral e-book marketing, having your own blog, forum marketing, building your own landing pages etc (this also goes for using links that you cannot control in your resource box. It is always better to login to your control panel, go to the redirect section and do a redirect to the affiliate products you are promoting. This way, you are still in control of what your links are.)

5.    Promoting Too Many Affiliate Products At A Time

The opportunity trap is a deadly mistake into which a lot of people are lured. Every new offer will look better than the previous and it is your duty to hold your head and focus on just a few programs at a time. Too many programs at a time will most likely sap your energy. If you are looking at selling many products at a time, the key is to choose product clusters in related niches and promote them. Too many dissimilar and far apart product niches will shatter your concentration.

6.    Giving Up Too Soon

Giving up too soon is a big mistake most affiliate marketers make. It sometimes takes persistence and a chunk of effort to start making the kind of affiliate earning you want. Expecting to hit $10,000 with just one article or after a 24hours effort is delusion. Yes… I agree you can make a lot of money as an affiliate marketer but it won’t happen overnight. You will need to learn the ropes, try our several techniques and hard at it to make it happen.

7.    Horror Pages!!

Actually it is called error pages and these are the pages that come up when the specific pages being requested on a website is unavailable. Just imagine having written 10 articles that each got published on 250 website and having an average of 100page views per article in a few months. That fives a total of 250,000 potential click on your links which could result in valuable affiliate sales. If those links go to an error page then you understand what I man by horror!

When the above steps are put in place, I’m sure you will make it. For more resource assistance, and for those that are still looking for best affiliate to choose from, visit www.marketonweb.net

I know how Affiliate Marketing works but I’m a little confused about how to get people to my site. Lets say for example that I want my website to sell golf products (through affiliates). I’ve heard "content is king" but how do I write about golf to put on my site? I think I may be missing the point and any help would be good. Thanks.

To get high organic search engine rankings, you have to add plenty of content on your website with targeted keywords. So add loads of golf-related articles to your website, the search engines count the number of targeted keywords and relevent links on your site, and rank your site based on relevance. The more golf-related keywords and links you have on your site you will achieve higher search engine rankings which should equal more traffic which should equal more sales.

For example, you can add anchor links on your site specifying certain brands. For example say you have a products review page, a link with the anchor text ‘ Buy Tiger Shark Pro 888 18 set golf clubs’ (i just made up pro 888 as a fictional model) would be more relevent than ‘Buy these clubs’. This is keyword targeting, and will drive targeted traffic to your site through the search engines when someones types into the search engines ‘I want to buy 18 set Tiger Shark Pro 888 clubs’, you will receive higher search engine rankings than the standard ‘buy these clubs’ link.

Add plenty of keywords to your website of the exact phrases people might type into search engines when searching for the products you’re selling.

The next step to achieving high rankings is to build links. build plenty of inbound links by submitting your website to good quality web directories with high alexa scores, many are free. Submit your site to at least 400 directories by hand (don’t use automated software because you might get penalised) just stick to 10 a day. But the best way is to ask golf related websites (preferably not ones selling the same products as you) already with high google rankings to link to your site with a reciprocal link from your site. Doing this will increase your google search engine rankings.

More targeted keywords + More links = Higher search engine rankings = More traffic = More Sales

If you got some money to spend, you can drive traffic to your site with Pay-Per-Click such as Google Adwords, or Facebook Advertising. Although you will get traffic instantaneously, it can be very expensive and maybe not worth it unless you do a bit of research and educate yourself on PPC.

Try to have at least 10 pages on your website, and you want visitors to stay as long as possible on your site to be successful. You could add articles like ‘beginner’s guide to starting golf’, ‘How to improve your swing’, ‘The best golf courses in the UK’, ‘nightmare golf holidays – a personal experience’ etc, etc. Then you could have a Products Review site with recommended golf clubs to buy etc etc. Add videos etc etc. Content is King. And throughout your site you could chuck in your affiliate links here and there but not bombard the page with them because the search engines might penalize this. And add a few affiliate linked banners.

It takes several months for the search engines to fully index your site, so add content submit to search engines and directories and just be patient. Once you’re receiving 100s of visitors a day, you should start making some sales!

Hi, is that true that we can earn money from home by working on internet ?,because i spent most of my time internet i want to make use of it,could somebody tell me this.and if you could mention the name of the work it will be better

Oh dear…

You will end up with a load of answers that all will have a link
to "make money quick" thru the internet.
Bad news…. they are scams.

Whatever you do: Remember that just like any other job you don’t pay anything up front and are being paid either by piece work or the hour. If you are asked to send them money to sign up or to buy merchandise that you sell in return…. you have been scammed.

My investigations show that it is possible that your affiliate commissions can be stolen by other people! Also, there are several ways to protect your affiliate marketing links and commissions. Now, I am going to give you simple ways to protect your affiliate marketing links and affiliate marketing commissions. You’ll discover simple easy ways to protect links and commission to hackers in this article.

READ THIS: If you are truly serious about affiliate marketing and how to protect your affiliate marketing links and commissions.

My researches reveal that there are numerous software products on the market that range from 15 – 50 dollars for special types of software that’ll assist you in protecting your affiliate marketing commissions. The effectiveness and ease of use for the programs range greatly, so before you buy one, you should always learn as much as you possibly can.

Encrypt your affiliate marketing links

One of the easy ways to protect your affiliate marketing commissions is to encrypt your affiliate marketing links before advertising. TinyURL service is one of a great place for you to start with. Otherwise, if you are promoting products or services from the most famous affiliate marketing network, CJ, you can encrypt your affiliate marketing links easily from merchants’ page.

Redirect your affiliate marketing links

Technically, your affiliate marketing links can be embedded in the format of PHP and HTML for redirection. There are many free scripts for protecting your affiliate marketing links and redirect your links. I highly recommend you to use script for PHP format. It is more secure than HTML format.

Banner servers

Banner servers are not only served banners, as many of the more recent servers will also display text links as well. The link coding that’s associated with served ads is normally long, so that the visitor won’t be able to see on the status bar where the redirect is heading.

Click tracking software

Click counting software will not show the target URL as the links point inwards to the software, which is normally installed on your own website.

Once someone has clicked on the link, the click tracking application will then redirect the visitor to the URL that you have specified within the script. The click tracking software will also provide a great way to monitor the usefulness of your ads and not just relying on the reports that merchants will provide.

Protecting your commissions is extremely important, as you want to get paid for what you do. Even though fraud is possible with Affiliate Marketing business, you can protect yourself and your affiliate marketing commission. Fraudsters have certain techniques and tactics they use, which you can protect yourself from.

If you have your own affiliate marketing business, the last thing you want to experience is either credit card fraud or affiliate fraud. They do happen on a regular basis, simply because those who have it happen haven’t taken the necessary steps they should have to protect themselves.

Conclusion, there are many hackers who are looking for stealing your affiliate commissions out there. The most effective ways for protecting your affiliate marketing commissions is to protect your affiliate marketing links. I believe that those above ways can help you far away from hackers.

I’m new to the whole idea of Affiliate Marketing but I get the concept. I was just wondering how many products I should try to promote on my website and how I should go about promoting them. I’ve read of people saying that new people should only promote a few products but then my website would only be a couple pages? Any comments/ help would be good thank you.

Just to keep it simple to start off with I would do no more than 11 items and try to keep affiliate banner links to a minimum of 2 or 3 and be sure to space them apart from each other otherwise your site looks like a billboard, been there done that and won’t make that mistake again. As far as the number of pages, I would try to keep it to one or two if you can, having a lot of pages doesn’t mean that your site is better. You want to be able to say what you want to say on one page with your links going to the affiliate sites. Don’t be to wordy, keep the word count to a minimum of a thousand. People read 25% slower on their computers then they do reading a book. You can also use a carousel that a certain affiliate provider has to help promote products with a visual picture and price of the product and you can have 10 items on that 1 carousel.

As far as promoting the product, write article and submit them to the myriad of article submission sites just make the article informative, something that people want to read. Then put your link to your site in the source box. You can also do you tube videos about products, Face book for business is good, even twitter now is a big thing. You can also go to forums to get people to your site.

If you want to start out with no cost use a blog as a website and put your affiliate links on it. You need to make sure you have word content on the blog or you will eventually get shut down. It’s free to use and there’s no hosting or domain name fees and you can put a tracking code in the blog just like a website to keep track of traffic to see how many hits you are getting. I do this myself with blogs, and it’s nice to not have to worry about money going out for different things. You also want to put out as many sites as you can just having 1 site is not good, multiple sites increases your chances of making money.
